Annice: "I'm wonderful!" she exclaimed happily! "Really!" He laughed again!! What a good day!!! "Your laugh is so nice," she said finally, still unable to stop hopping a bit. She was just... so, so happy! When was the last time she was this happy??? Maybe never!
When they arrived at the Jewelry shop, Annice gasped! Everything was so pretty inside! Why was he taking her here? She was sure everything must be very expensive. Maybe he just wanted to show her everything- she did love sight-seeing, as she was sure he was aware by now!
She looked around, having finally stopped hopping (for the most part). She wanted to roam about, but she was still holding Sinsir's hand so she needed to be courteous to him, too! She placed her free hand on her cheek. Even just what she could see was beautiful- she even saw anti-stick watches and things for what she could only assume was for candy people and the like. They had things like that in Easter Village too- albeit usually not so finely crafted...!

Sinsir: He walked with her through the store, letting go of her hand and weaving his arm around her waist instead, holding her close. He guided her along, moving past the watches and bracelets, and stopping at the necklaces, just before the rings. He looked down at the delicate silver chains resting against red velvet, all brightly lit so every jewel glittered like stars. Especially the ones that were shaped like stars.
"Which ones do you like?" he asked. Knowing she may be wising up to him, he admitted honestly, "I'm not buying you anything today! I'd just like to know for the future."

Annice: But how could she think about which jewelry she liked when she had so much against her?
1) It was all very pretty! 2) Sinsir was holding her very close and he had laughed (TWICE) and she was in love.
He asked her though, so she did her best. She peered at the jewelry through the glass, careful not to touch it specifically and pointed to a couple pieces she liked.
"Are those diamond snowflakes?" she asked in awe. They most certainly were. Of the ones she pointed out, 100% of them were white gold with diamonds and some of them had small accents of red or pink or both. She tended toward the diamonds, though, resulting in mostly white pieces, usually hung on white gold or silver chains. The intricacies of the diamonds amazed her- really, everything about this holiday (including Sinsir-especially Sinsir) amazed her.

Sinsir: He hummed, still smiling, filing the information away for future reference. Once she had exhausted herself on the necklaces, he led her around the rest of the store, looking at bracelets and birthstone rings and earrings, and even a couple of tiaras. He kept his hand on her waist and kept watching her carefully, the way her eyes sparkled and the small gasps she made when she found something particularly beautiful. She seemed to love the snowflakes so much.
"Is there anything else you want to see?" he asked after he had gathered all the information he needed.

Annice: Anything else?
"Just one thing." She turned to look at him (she always had to look up at him, but she didn't mind) and did her best to plant a tiny kiss on his cheek (which, like normal, ended up more on his jaw than anything). "Okay! That's all!" She giggled a little at her own silliness.

Sinsir: He grinned and gave her a kiss back, right on her nose.
"Would you like me to escort you home, then?" he asked. The sun was setting, anyway, painting the sky with dusty colors as usual, peeking through the light cloud cover. She really should be getting back.

Annice: She frowned, but eventually sighed- resolving herself to the fact that she probably shouldn't keep him out late. They moved toward the door, still too close to each other than they probably should have been in public, but Annice couldn't bring herself to care in the slightest.
"I suppose I should-- but you don't have to escort me! I know how you feel about Easter Village," she said only a little bit sad. She knew he was much too much of a gentleman to allow it- despite the discomfort Easter Village brought him- but she had to try! "Maybe just to the door? That would be plenty far! Or I could escort you home~!" she said in a sing-song voice, nudging him playfully.

Sinsir: "I would be honored to escort you to your door," he said, taking her hand as they reached the top of the door's hill. He normally would have hired a carriage, but they were both dressed appropriately and he wanted to steal the extra minutes it took them to walk. As they ascended off the hill and through the door, he helped her gracefully float to the ground off of the cold gust. He didn't respond to her comment about Easter town, although it was true. Christmas was only about a week away, and he had some plans. Only a week away! He had been falling behind in his gift wrapping! He had been relieved of his duties when he received his teaching job, but near Christmas Santa had asked him to help again. And with Christmas only a week away, that meant the winter ball was coming up soon as well... As they walked towards the brightly colored egg, he said with a half-smile,
"Miss Annice, would you do me the honor of going to the winter ball with me?"

Annice clapped her hands on her cheeks! Such a gentleman!
"I wouldn't dream of going with anyone else!" She couldn't help but hop up and down a few times before jumping up to give him a quick kiss. "I'd love to! Thank you!!!" Why all these thank you's? No matter! She had Christmas and a ball to prepare for!!

Sinsir: He laughed lightly at her antics. He had never seen Annice this fidgety before! He hoped it was just because she was happy. When they reached the door, he opened it and bowed.
"I will see you at the ball then, ma'am," he said, purposely being overly formal. "Please have a blessed night."

Annice laughed!! Such a silly cookie! She turned toward the door as he opened it for her, but turned back purposely just to curtsy.
"And to you," she said in a (what she hoped was) regal fashion. She began to step through it (his hand guiding her) before stopping and turning toward him one more time, all joking aside for a moment. "I love you," she said with her brightest, happiest smile.

Sinsir: He leaned forward and kissed her briefly on the lips - so many kisses today! - and touched her face softly.
"I love you," he said in return. He closed the door gently after her and walked back to his own, feeling warmer than he ever had before.
