She doesn't even GO here: Petal/Mint

Mint: She sighed in relief. Thank goodness that it was only glitter everywhere! Glitter anywhere was always wonderful. She wasn't quite sure why Petal had suddenly seemed to..scream it? She only spoke with magic words but that one felt sudden and kinda like a scream. Like a scream if Petal could. Could she talk? Mint almost forgot to respond to Petal before reality set in. "Oh! Outside? Yes, yes, ya gots to see da outside of dis place. Like the inside is great, but ya only get to enjoy the outside for a while til it gets cold outside for da winter and stuff cause den your friend made of chocolate needs to keep like a billon layers on to go out and ya can't go outside without her! ..or at least dat is what it is like for me at da Academy. But yes, outside!"

Mint: She recoiled in horror. "...Bwidget is made of chocolate..You..You shouldn't..eat her! Accordin to Red doe, she is very yummy.. Well he didn't say it like dat, but he meant dat. But he doesn't mean like daaat." She paused. "ANYWAYS. It will get cold outside, and I dunno if you are used to cold in Valentine's. So, we should go outside and enjoy it before it gets colds!" She tried to gauge if Petal understood her this time. Mint knew she talked a bit too fast sometimes, but she couldn't help it. It just sorta happened, and some people did end up confused once in a while.

Mint: "...colors? Oooooh. No no no. I got a friend named Red! Not the color! Redmond Montague, prince of the cusiths. Bwidget is his princess.."

Her eyes grew wide. Christmas was coming soon, wasn't it? She didn't want to remember that! Mint still needed to finish a ton of presents before Christmas, and 84 days was not even enough. "..yup..it is coming up quicks.." She made a small nod and looked to the side. How many presents would she need to make anyway? Not to mention doing all her homework. And still eating. Did she have enough time? She started to rub her cheeks.

Mint: She looked at Petal. She was also rubbing her cheeks? Was she also worried or..oh. Ooooh. Mint rubbed her cheeks a bit more. "Well." She stopped. "I do dis when I get worries. It helps..uh.." She twirled her fingers a bit, trying to figure out how it explain it. "Elves got naturally red cheekers, but dat doesn't always feel good when ya get worries cause den your face gets really hot and red. So I do dat cause my hands are colder den my cheekers and it makes me feel bedders." She shrugged.
It wasn't exactly true, but she wasn't quite sure why she did that. It just kind of made sense to. She never really thought about it, but figured it was better to make something up then tell Petal she didn't know.
It wasn't a lie! It was just an educated guess!

Mint: She smiled. Petal was so ready to help! Gosh, she had so much Christmas cheer in her! At least that is how Mint figured it.
She jolted back from the shock of something cold suddenly against her face. Deciding that her reflex was dumb, she leaned back into Petal's hands. She gave Petal two thumbs up. "Good idea!"
She wasn't quite sure why Petal was so cold. She did look kind of odd, but she honestly hadn't expected her to feel so cold! Mint knew she was a doll, but it hadn't really hit her that maybe she didn't..feel like a person? This brought up more questions, but Mint decided they could wait.

Mint: She beamed over Petal’s excitement! It was always wonderful to see someone who was overjoyed! She had to stop herself from giggling slightly over Petal’s experience with a little bitty leaf.
“Don’t worries! Day can’t hurt you. Show it who is da boss and eat it! EAT DA LEAF.” Mint tried to demonstrate. She bent down and picked up an old dead brown leaf. She ripped off a piece in her mouth. A sour expression came over her and she spat out the leaf.
“Don’t do dat! Just..throw it to da ground! Tell it is the worstest leaf ever for being mean to the awesomeness dat is Petal!"

Mint: She brushed off the remaining bits of leaf off her tongue. "Oh yes, I am doing fines!"
She looked over Petal. She seemed happier after Mint's compliment, but she wasn't sure. And it was always a very good thing to check, just in case! "What about joo?"
