Mint: "Wells, if it is set ups like my school, den it should just be up a few floors. Nuthin too hard to find." Mint walked for a bit, focusing on how her shoes felt on her feet. A little tight, maybe she needed new ones.
She got snapped back into reality by well, Petal's snapping. She looked over and read the question carefully. She put her finger on the bridge of her nose. "Oh gosh, dat is a good question." She rubbed her nose a bit. "I would say penguin, but I really likes rats lately. Penguin or rat..penguin..rat..Nope, still gonna say penguin!"

Petal: In truth, she really should have guessed! Kids' favorites were usually penguins or lions! Although she had no room to speak because, well... lions were kind of her favorite... But no matter!! It would mean she's had more practice, which is always good. As they walked, she stood on her tiptoes and did a single spin, and with her hands guided a "Snowstorm" are them! Petal didn't have too many memories of Christmas Town, sadly, but did she pictures! Sometimes kids brought picture books to the circus and showed them to her, and she could make the pictures pop out of the pages! Thankfully, many of these are of snowy spaces! From behind them, penguin illusions dove past them, sliding on their bellies down the hall! She was very super careful for the penguins not to actually touch them, so it looked more realistic! When they got pretty far ahead they eventually faded into glitter bombs.
Petal turned on her heel with a surprised face to Mint! With a "Shhh" expression, she pointed behind them, in which now a swarm of rats ran past, following the penguins' path. It was a weird ensemble, yes, but if that's what she wanted, so be it!!
Afterwords, the girls were left with ANOTHER hallway full of glitter (Hopefully they didn't mind...). Petal bowed and smiled back at Mint. She hoped she liked that!! Her rats might have been a little scary!

Mint: She motioned towards the whole scene with her hands. She was at lost for words! It was a quite a feat! "EH!" She said pointing towards where the penguins had gone. "EEEE." She stated motioning to where the rats had came from. "AH FUBBAHBAHBAH." She exclaimed waving her arms around at nothing in particular.
She shock her head. "DAT WAS AWESOME!" She hopped once. "How did ya learn dat, anyway! Oh gosh, I am never ever gonna be able to do anyding dat awesome! No toy I could ever make could be dat awesome!"

Petal: She couldn't help but to wince a bit. Mint's actions were...terrifying...! And so hard to read!! What in the name of the Morrigan were those sounds she was making?? She looked happy buttttt...!!! She fumbled with her tulle and shook some glitter off (You could never be completely clean, though, sighhh).
Oh good, she liked it!! "Thank you!!" That was a relief!!! Petal let out a silent sigh and perked right back up, careful to listen to everything Mint says! "Never learned, just happened!" She thought for a moment. How to reply so shortly!! If you use too many words, illusions can be so hard to read! She tapped her cheek; "You could!" and then, moments after, "Made with Christmas magic!!" She assumed Mint probably was magic, too!! Petal giggled, it was so weird that one day Mint could create something like herself! Actually, it was really weird how Mint was the first person she met at the University, too. Must be Christmas magic!!

Mint: "Welcome!" Such a nice person!
She gasped when she learned that Petal didn't even have to learn illusions. Like it was so awesome, it seemed like it took years of practice. She got a little confused at the 'you could' bit. She wasn't well versed in illusions, why would Petal..
Mint wasn't sure what to say. Christmas magic? She didn't have much of that, espically for a freakin Christmas elf. But why would Petal have Christmas magic? She decided to go with the less embrassing option.
"Oh my gosh! You are from Christmas?! I nevers seen you before, doe! I thoughts you were from Saint Patricks cause day wear lots and lots of red dere. Dat is awesome!"

Petal: Oh!! She never TOLD Mint what town she was in?? Uh oh! Petal blinked back at her for a moment and silently sighed. "Live in Valentine's!! Made in Christmas Town!" She couldn't help but furrow her brow. Reeedddd? Why would St. Patricks people where red and not green?? She had never seen anyone from there before, of course, but that seemed...pretty odd! It was weird how popular of a color it was between most holidays! Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's and St. Patricks like red, then? Weirddd!
Oh! But what else did Petal forget to mention...? She thought for a moment, "I live in a circus!! Lots of animals!"

Mint: "Cool! Dat is a super cute holiday, so dat makes lotsa sense!" Valentine's day was great. So much hand holding! "So ya moved dere cause it was too cold in Christmas?"
She tilted her head. Circus? What was a circus? Lots of animals, so either a farm or a zoo. Circus tent was a word, right? It was kind of familiar to Mint, but it wasn't bring up any solid clues. "And, you live in a zoo tent?"

Petal: She smiled, Mint was so nice!! Ahhhh, nice cute company was so refreshing!!! She silently giggled. With the people who work there too, it might as well be a zoo! She spread her arms, "A large tent, where we do tricks! Like a play!" They had Christmas plays, didn't they? She always assumed there were Christmas shows, simply because her father knew how to make singing dolls, so they were probably high in demand... Her smile turned into a frown and she looked down to the ground. She didn't remember much coldness from Christmas, but she had to admit, when it was cold in Valentine's Ville, it didn't bother her nearly as much as the other carnies! Still, she didn't want to tell Mint too much of her story... In the circus they were taught to make kids happy, and were usually punished if kids left scared or sad. She shivered a bit, "I was sold to my ringleader from Christmas Town!" Hopefully Mint would come by her circus someday, she would probably really like most of it!! The woman with a beard creeped even Petal out, though...

Mint: A giant tent with a play? So it would be like a Christmas Carol, but with animals and tricks! It would be better then the musical verisons. Not that Mint had seen that..a few times. Okay fine, a lot of times, but still. With animals and tricks like Petal's it would be a bijillon times cooler!
She saw Petal frown. Oh no. Oooh no. Why was she suddenly sad? Someone that nice shouldn't be sad! She should be jolly.
"Sold? You cants sell people!" Sure, Petal was a 'doll', but she could talk and do illusions and was a person. She had real emotions..she had her own thoughts and stuff. "..do..do you likes the circus?"

Petal: She gave Mint a light smile. She was so nice!! Petal was really lucky to bump into her, especially on her first day! She looked to Mint, and then back to the floor. "He sold me!" It hurt to think about, but it was the truth! Petal silently wiped away a tear- she didn't want to spoil her make-up, after all, and gave Mint an even bigger smile. "Nevermind! I love the circus!" Petal had to admit, it really did have it downs, but at the end of the day the circus was her home! Even if the carnies smelled bad and the food was terrible, the looks of wonder and joy she got from the audience was worthwhile! "Do you like Christmas Town?"

Mint: She wasn't quite sure about Petal. She seemed sad, but she kept smiling at Mint.
"As long as you are happ dere! Cause dat is what matters most, ya know. Godda be happy!" She nodded to herself. She would probably quit toymaking if it no longer made her happy.
Now that was a hard question! She liked Christmas town, but did she LIKE it? She was avoiding going back there at the moment, but it was still where her family was. And where all her toys she made went. And it was a really pretty town. But she felt attached to the academy. It was where she met all her friends! And she couldn't imagine what it would be like if she never met her friends. Mint realized she had been staring off into the distance for a bit too long.
"Oh yeah! Christmas is great. But the bestest thing is da school! Ya meet lotsa awesome people. Why, I even met one just today! You should meets her!" She paused. "Oh wait, she is joo!" She laughed at her own joke.

Petal: Her eyes widened at Mint. She liked the school more than her own town?? From what Petal DID know about Christmas Town, Mint seemed to be the spitting image of it! Petal always assumed if she stayed there, she would have loved the town more than anything...but the school? Her eyes widened even more; She had another friend!! Maybe she was from Christmas town too- Oh! She couldn't help to giggle! "You really love your friends!!" They were really lucky, huh? Petal would hAVE to show Mint the other carnies, she would really love them, too.

Mint: She closed her eyes and slowly nodded. "Yup yup." She opened her eyes. "But I mean, dat is expected. Cause dat is what friends do best!" In all honesty, Mint wasn't sure about how much she loved her friends. Like sure, she thought she would do ANYTHING for them, but she wasn't quite sure she could do such a thing. It hadn't really come up, the chance to be a hero, but it was still possible to love people regardless. She rocked a bit on her heels.
"So, ya made any friends other den me so far? I betcha made lotsa friends cause you seem like you gots like lots and lots of friends. People like when ya can listen." She nodded to herself. "And also cause like..you sortas.." She tried to figure out the word. She twirled her fingers around a bit. "You gots like..dat sorta..goodness feel to ya. Like ya just seem super duper nice and when ya walk in a room I bets everyone knows it!"

Petal: She smiled and blinked a few times at Mint. "No friends!!" She laughed a minute until Mint went on!! She pressed her hands to her cheeks, "WOW REALLY??" The words "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" flashed several times. Petal didn't know to feel!! No one ever really tells her she's niiicceee! Actually, if she had learned ANYTHING from this entire experience is that when you walk into a room wearing circus clothing everyone looks at you funny. Also, a lot of humans smell like sweat too, not just the carnies! BUT more so, the vast majority of people here were prettttyyy scary! Even worse was all the...PRETTY MEN. ABOMINATIONS. FAR TOO BEAUTIFUL. As a matter of fact, Petal felt SO STRONGLY about the matter that she accidentally projected "PRETTY MEN EVERYWHERE!!!  " above her head! Her face flushed red and she used her hands to disperse the illusion. She looked wide eyed at Mint. M...Maybe she didn't notice!! |

Mint: She frowned. No friends? Oh gosh. How was that even possible?! Not that Mint was really one to speak. She didn't have very many friends back at Christmas town. Clearly Petal just needed some time to get used to the school and absolutly everyone would love her!
She giggled. It was sooo nice to see Petal being so happy about how sweet she was! She was so nice it was like she was from Christmas town! Which she was..but..not exactly. Mint still wasn't really sure about that whole 'sold' thing. She almost missed the words that popped up above Petal's head suddenly and unexpectly. She just saw 'EVERYWHERE' before Petal removed the words. She blinked a few time in confusion.
"Wait, whats is everywhere?!" She looked around her feet, ready to jump up in the air if it was something horrible like lava or a glitter eating Grinch.
