Hans: "That's okay!! When you speak French, it makes me want to speak Deutsche!" He laughed, "Franz doesn't EVEN KNOW that much! But sehr danke, meine gute freunde!~~~" He put an arm around Geoffrey too and hopped down the stairs.
Franz caught up with Raphael. "Yeah well, a LOT of people talk about Hans!!!" He looked surprised, "Ja, he mentions me?" He couldn't help but to run a hand through his hair. "Hey, that's so nett! It's actually pretty weird how much you guys mirror Hans and myself, I was just thinking! It looks like you've known each other forever." He started down the stairs. "Oh uh...Well, for the most part, Easter Village is, yeah...But our district's a little different. We're pretty north, so it stays a lot colder, and there's not as many animals. Pastel colors, though, yeah..." He sighed. "We uh...we don't go home very often, actually! Believe it or not, punk ass kids like ourselves don't fit in very well, hahaha!" He looked Raphael over again. "Is Valentine's super sappy? Er...Not saying like... you guys look like it or anything! But from what I've heard. Hans is pretty interested in your town, actually!"

Geoffrey: "Ah, well then, that's trés bien!! Ah, yes, Raphael doesn't speak the language either, I'm afraid. I don't think? And I wish I could understand German! I just have French, Italian, English and some Portuguese and Spanish." He shrugged as they made their way down the second flight of stairs, having nearly forgotten about Raphael and Franz. "You must teach me sometime! I'll teach you French if you teach me German! WaiT! THIS IS A FABULOUS IDEA BECAUSE THEN WE CAN HAVE OUR OWN LANGUAGES AND WE CAN TALK IN CODE AROUND PEOPLE!!!"

Raphael: He couldn't help but laugh a little. It was true, they clashed with pretty much every picture of Easter he had come to associate the holiday with.
"Oh, very sappy. Hearts everywhere, and red and pink. Even the sky is pink. I didn't realize that was an odd thing until I stepped outside the door. Actually, until I talked to people from other towns. I still can't think it's not normal. Even the hearts thing. I don't know, I guess it must be like... eggs for you? And pretty much everyone is in a couple or looking to be in one. Even little kids will play at dating." He smiled, unable to stop as he thought about little boys pulling out chairs for little girls. "It's actually pretty cute, I think. Oh! And rose gardens. We have rose gardens everywhere."
As he walked he shook his head. "Geoffrey's just easy to talk to, I guess. And he's very fun, it's nice to have someone to let loose around."

Hans: "Wait YEAH!! That's ist eine TOLL IDEE! You wouldn't expect it, brolein, but it's pretty romantic too! Here uh... Okay-okay, I used this on a girl once, 'Ihre Wangen so rot wie Rosen sind, und sie schmiltz mein Hertz auf den erseten Blick!' He was super careful to roll his r's and laughed, "it sounds pretty nice, ja? That's uh, "Your cheeks are as red as roses, and on sight it melts my heart!" auf Englisch!... The only thing is, uh, do you think I'm smart enough to learn another language?" He scratched the back of his head and lightly brushed a hand across his kitten tattoo. "I uh, haha, am not too sure myself, bud!"
Franz: "Oh man, are you serious?? That's crazy!" He sighed, "Sheesh, even the KIDS? What does like...does like everyone have kids super early there?" His cheeks turned a faint pink. "Haha, uh...we uh, we definitely aren't known for romance where we come from, actually. In Easter Village, it's pretty strict so there's not a lot of uh...underage dating, I guess? You know what I mean." He awkwardly looked away for a second before laughing, "Well, like, most people our age are pretty bad at it! Like, Hans probably has had the most dates out of everyone I know, and they usually don't work out well! I remember, one time he said a bunch of romantic shiit to this girl in German, right, and hey, it was pretty sweet, don't get me wrong, but she didn't even speak German, and got the wrong idea, and totally slapped him in the face!" He laughed a bit, "Man, I kinda want to visit your town now! I can't imagine a pink sky, holy Halloween." He called to Geoffrey, "Hey uh, where are we headed to, anyway??"

Geoffrey: "That sounds trés AMAZING!" he said, putting his hands up to his cheeks. "I want to learn EVERY language. All of them." He looked over at Hans curiously. "Mais, bien sûr, mon ami! Er- wait, I did it again. But, of course, mon ami! Why would I ever think you weren't smart enough to learn? You're plenty intelligent!"
He turned around quickly, walking backwards now. "Why, Valentine Ville, of course!" he said brightly. "Unless you know somewhere else that serves French toast in the shape of hearts covered in whipped cream and strawberries along with the most amazing quiche you'll ever eat for brunch!" He grinned and looked over at Raphael. "Am I wrong, mon frère?"

Raphael: "Well, the kids don't really date, of course, they're just playing at what they see older people doing. I don't... feel like it's super early? Most people have kids before they're out of their twenties, and some before they get there... but that's not too early, right..?" from the look on Franz's face, he wasn't sure of the answer. He couldn't help but laugh at the story though. "Have you ever..." his question quickly died off. In Valentine Ville it was very common to ask someone about their romantic past, but from what Franz had just said he figured it may be a bit more inappropriate to talk about there. From his string, however, he would assume Franz hadn't had too many relationships. It was too straight and neat for that.
At Geoffrey's question, he shook his head, closing his eyes briefly to reminisce about the beautiful food the seraph was talking about.
"And crepes filled with cream cheese and chocolate and bacon so perfect you'll cry." He opened his eyes again, grinning. "So, Angelino's again, then?"

Franz: His lips tightened. Kids who copied adults like that freaked the fuck out of him. In Easter Village it was FAR too common for his liking. "Oh, actually in our town most people wait until their thirties before they start even looking..." He smiled, "We're kinda lame, I guess!" He kind of figured what question what coming, but thankfully Raphael just trailed off. He pretended not to hear and smiled up at Hans, who seemed to be enjoying himself. Thaaaattt was not a question Franz wanted to answer!
Hans: He raised a shoulder, "Geoffrey, you really think I'm smart!?!? THAT'S SO KIND!!" He turned around to walk backwards too, but almost tripped a few times. "WHOAAAA BACON?? DUUUUUDDDDDDE! LIKE WITH CHOCOLATE!? CHOCOLATE BACON!?" Franz gave a happy-sort of sigh, "Oh greeaaaat, another chocolate holiday! Shiit, does that make like, nearly all of them?? Careful dude, watch your fucking step there, ahahaha!"

Geoffrey: "THAT IS CERTAINLY A POSSIBILITY, MON AMI! WE HAVE CHOCOLATE OF ALL KINDS IN OUR TOWN-- but plenty that's not chocolate as well!" He said back to Franz before turning around again so he could open the door to the front lawn.
The journey went on much like this until they arrived in Valentine Ville, bright pink sky overhead looking down on them. Roses were tucked in every crevice, and the cobblestone streets glittered in pink, red, brown, white and lilac under their feet. The river off in the distance twinkled in pink and gold underneath the sky, and cherubs and other winged beings flocked overhead.
"Ah, home sweet home!" Geoffrey sung. "Come, what do you all think of it?" he asked, hopping off the pedestal where the trees were located behind other trees with carved initials and hearts in the trunk of all, many with several. He landed on the sidewalk, a few feet from where off-and-on stairs would take them down the hill and to the main square.

Raphael: "Really, bacon actually usually comes without chocolate, I didn't mean it how it sounded," he said with a self conscious chuckle, "and there's sausage, and ham... that's just for brunch, of course. We do have non sweet food, I promise!" he said encouragingly.
When they finally got to their town, he took a deep breath, appreciating the floral scent. He almost laughed at the trail of rose petals Geoffrey always picked up when he first entered town. They only swirled behind him for a minute, but it was as though the town itself were taking part in his dramatics. A small red bird fluttered and landed on a branch near him, trilling a few sweet notes before flying off again. He followed Geoffrey down, stomach already grumbling at the prospect of food.

Hans/Franz: Both of their eyes widened at the sight, and they stood in a stupor, completely amazed. Franz bumped into hans who turned to him and quietly laughed, "It's so beautiful... AND so pink!!!!" Franz whispered to him, "People...actually live here, and it's completely normal to them. Jesus..." He slowly brushed a hand through his hair before realizing JUST how many flowers there were around them. He crossed his arms and was sure to tuck in his hands, but slowly bent town to see bright blue roses along their path. Hans skipped ahead, already with an arm full of flowers.
"GEOFFREYYY!" He presented them to his friend, "H-how do you make those...uh...what are they called...The flower hats!?!" His face contorted, "Er...not hats I mean! You wear them around your head??" He looked down at them and smelled them, "Let's make matching ones, okay?? Pretty please!"
Franz, still bent over, was behind them now. He breathed; "Crowns. They're called crowns." and chuckled a bit at Hans, until he saw that the blue roses' petals started to fall off. He moved closer until he realized his breathing was causing the plants to die. Startled, he moved back quickly and begun to catch up with the group, taking a quick peek back to see blue petals all over the ground.
Catching up the rest of them, he tried to sound as calm as ever, but ironically, was out of breath. "Hey uh... A-Are we almost there, by chance?"

Geoffrey: "Ah, oui!! Bien sûr!!" He took the flowers cheerfully and started making a flower crown while he was walking. He was very used to the town, but he was glad his friends were enjoying it!! At Franz's (somewhat unsettled-sounding!!) question, he turned slightly, mid-weave and said, "Oui! It's not far, right my dear Raphael?" He trotted down the last steps, almost done with the flower crown he was constructing for Hans (he was quite quick at this particular craft, he would readily admit) and turned back to his friends, sweeping his arms wide as if to show off the square. He dropped several blue and purple roses in the process. "Bienvenue, mes amis! Angelino's is only about a block away!" He leaned down to pick up the flowers again and nearly caused a small collision of college-age Easter and Valentine's boys. "My apologies!" he said to Raphael as he bumped him on his way back up.

Raphael: "Oui," he said with a smirk. He quickly backpedaled as Geoffrey decided that now was as good a time as any to make a sudden stop and pick up some flowers. "No problem at all, I've always known you have the coordination of a baby cherub." he said, flicking the blond curls around. He plucked some of the flowers that Geoffrey had just picked up out of his hands, beginning his own flower crown. He thought the colors matched Franz's overall scheme pretty well. Speaking of Franz... "Hey, are you ok?" he asked, putting a hand briefly on Franz's shoulder as the other boy panted. "You're not allergic to anything, are you?"

Hans: He skipped along, grabbing more flowers, ready to give them to Geoffrey for ANOTHER crown! "Wow these come in so many colo---- OUF!" He tripped over Geoffrey, but was careful not to tumble. He did, however, drop his flowers all over the place, but only to be sure he caught Franz before HE fell. He held him for a moment and laughed. That was a close one!! He gave Franz a pat and started to pick up his flowers, and held them back up to Geoffrey! "WOW you make them so fast!!! Is it hard to do??" He winked back at Franz, "Franz is too cool for flowers, so you don't have to make him one!! It's ruin his image!!"
Franz: He stumbled, but was surprised to be caught by... "Hans?" He dusted himself off and backed up a bit, giving him a smile. "Oh uh...I uh..." Hans chimed in, "Franz's allergies are the worst!!! You should see him in the springtime! So bad!" Franz started back at Raphael. "Ah, yeah! Really bad!" He weakly smiled and looked back to Hans before finding him... gone?
"GUYS LOOK!" Hans laughed. He was already way ahead, playing hopscotch with some much younger kids on the street. They used flowers instead of rocks, but were extremely careful not to step on them. Hans laughed loudly as he played too, "Check it out, Himmel und Hölle!! Hahahaha!"

Geoffrey: "Not even a little! I can show you how!" He started work on a second one, either doing a poor job at teaching because he was going to fast or not intending to do any teaching at that moment at all. He glanced up at Hans to see him playing with some kids and dropped the flower crown altogether to run toward him.
"FOR A MAN WHO IS SHAPED LIKE AN UPSIDE DOWN TRIANGLE, YOU'RE VERY LIGHT ON YOUR FEET!" He proclaimed as he watched. He had NO idea what 'Himmel und Hölle' meant, but he was glad Hans was enjoying himself. A little girl looked up at Geoffrey and looked away from him with a huge blush on her face, which he couldn't help but smile at. He knelt and pulled a tiny, pink rosebud out of thin air. "Here you are, ma petite amie~" he said, only leading her to blushing more fiercely and hiding behind her male friend who was not impressed. He knew that look. He couldn't help but laugh slightly.
With Angelino's in sight, he decided it wouldn't hurt to play a game for just a moment! After Hans finished his turn, one of the kids looked up at Geoffrey and said, "Voulez-vous jouer?*" very formally. Geoffrey grinned down at him and said, "Oui, merci! Mais, juste pour une minute.**" The boy nodded and handed Geoffrey a tiny flower that he tossed down and skipped to gracefully, taking the time to skip his way back and pretend to fall partway on Franz in a friendly (and dorky) gesture, laughing as he did.
((*Do you want to play? **Yes, thank you! But just for a minute.))

Raphael: There seemed something slightly off about the way Hans insisted Franz was "too cool for flowers". He ended up shrugging though. He probably just didn't like them, or maybe they made his allergies flare up. He wouldn't press it.
He laughed when he saw the hopscotch. He hadn't played that in years. And of course Hans and Geoffrey were first in line, Geoffrey unable to contain himself from gaining yet another admirer. Raphael was surprised he didn't have half the town on his arm by now. He watched them skip on through, the children watching mostly in amusement. When it cam to his turn he tossed the flower like a skipping stone, landing it near the end.
"Ha!" he said in triumph. He quickly calculated the best route and began skipping down the squares, intent on his prize. As he went one of the children moved, idly walking around to the end. Their string moved directly into his path and he tried to stop quickly, not wanting to damage it. Wavering on one leg, he quickly lost his balance and fell. He landed hard, but it didn't actually hurt much. He mostly felt silly. He knew he had to step on strings sometimes, and hadn't heard of any heartbreaks resulting from that. But he was still paranoid, he was certain that if ANYONE could accidentally damage a string, it was him. He picked himself up, wincing and rubbing his elbow.
"Sorry, guys. I guess I'm a little rusty."
