Nollaig giggled!! "Fernando, can you ask Mint if she wants to have a sleepover at Uncle Red's cabin?" she asked. "It'll be lots of fuuunnnn~!!!" she sang, incorporating tildes into her speech.

Fernando: "Ah, yes yes. Of course." They covered their mustache and spun around. Mint shook out her hand and grinned. "SLEEPOVER?!"

Nollaig: "YES YES YES!!" she exclaimed!! "We can do all the fun things and the cabin's far enough away from the gate that Uncle Red said we could do it!!! Plus he misses you a ton!!!!"

Mint: She frowned and looked down. "Oh..Poor Doggy. He doing his bestest..BUT YES, OF COURSE! Dis is gonna be the bestest!"

Nollaig: "YAYYYYYY!!!" She bounced and looked around. "It looks like everyone's leaving anyway, so do ya wanna go now???" She grinned really wide!

Mint: "I am super duper excited! Lead da way!"
Nollaig grinned before grabbing Mint's hand and rushing off up the hill! "I even know where the doors are and everything!!" She took her straight to them and opened up the St. Patrick's Grove door before bowing! Super silly!!
"After you, Miss Minty~~!!" she said, gesturing to the door!

Mint tried to also do a bow, but looked down to realize something. "..uh, Nollaig, I.." She had forgotten to bring anything other then her shoes, socks, and swimsuit. "Nevermind!" She would figure that out later. She lightly bowed and jumped through the door.

Nollaig already had a plan for that! "Don't worry about-- and she's gone!" She jumped in behind her and landed in the soft patch of clovers she was used to landing in next to Mint! "I was gonna say don't worry about clothes and stuff!" she said cheerfully before turning and heading in the direction of the forest!

Mint dusted herself off. Not that being covered in clovers wasn't one of the bestest thing. She tried to give Nollaig a puzzled look but was a bit too slow. "Ah! Okay dokey!" She yelled to Nollaig, before running to catch up.

Nollaig was sure to stop for a bit while Mint caught up. Lots of bad things were in this forest!
"Last time you were here was a while ago, huh?" she asked after Mint caught up and she began leisurely walking around poisonous mushrooms and only-slightly-deadly redcaps. She gleefully kicked a redcap that got too close and looked pointedly away from a will o' the wisp, deciding to look at Mint instead!

Mint had to think about just HOW long ago it had been since she had last came to the forest. There was something about Red's brother..who also happened to be Nollaig's dad. Mint got distracted in her thoughts thinking about how much of a jerk that one guy was. She couldn't even remember his name, it was that dumb. It was like Kelloggs or something dumb, just like his face. Her face scrunched up in anger, before remembering what was actually going on. "Ah! Right! Yeah! Last time was..actually I dink we had a field trip around here after dat! At least, I thiink it was after..." Mint's brain was not very helpful today.

Nollaig nodded! "Yeah, I thought it was a while ago though!" She hopped over a log and helped Mint over it before sticking her tongue out at a glaistig and continuing on. You could tell they were getting close now, due to the occasional stray cù sìth wandering about. Nollaig though for a moment how Red wouldn't be happy about all the wandering away from camp, especially since there were pechs in the woods around this time, but she didn't care enough to want to say anything about it! Everyone deserved to wander every now and then! Besides, some of them were scurrying in the direction they were headed now that Nollaig was walking through.
"Aw, I just remembered I have homework." She pouted. "Oh well! I'll do it later," she said decidedly! This was going to be too much fun for her to skip out on this! "Do you have any? Having a teacher that's the headmaster sounds tough!"

Mint made a sound between an eh and a I dunno. "I had homework, but I did it's before heading to the party. It isn't THAT hard compared to how hard it was to do before Christmas. With the toy rush and all dat..and I don't think dat having headmaster as a teacher makes it harders. No no, having a great uncle as a teacher makes it tough. Sooo embarrassing sometimes. Not as embarrassing as my uncle Cook, but preddy close. Is Ms. Fitzpadrick like super tough? Does she bench press her desk every day? Dat would be like a super tough teacher!" Mint snorted over her pun.

Nollaig giggled and couldn't stop herself from blushing slightly. "No! Miss Fitzpatrick is a great teacher!!! She's really great, even if she does yell occasionally. She's the nicest banshee I've ever met!!" She was glad for the interruption when suddenly a massive wall of green and red was in front of them.
"'Ey Pipsqueak." Red stood before them, feeling much like a tower until he knelt down so he could see them better. Red scooped Mint up in a hug immediately!! He had a lot of apologizing to do for missing last week... and the week before. He went every week up until that point, and it was hard to get away, but he still felt bad. "Been a while. Sorry 'bout that."

Mint squealed! First an awesome beach party mystery, then heading to a sleepover, now here was Red! “Well well, Doggie, you remember our deal. Now I gots ta punish you!” She tried to turn her big smile into a frown. The only problem is she couldn’t help but laugh. “Okay dokey, can’t do dat. I am having like the bestest time right now! Nollaig and I were gonna have a sleepover at…” She paused for a moment. Nollaig had literaly said it was gonna at Red's. How did she not realize. “Oooooh… But ya been okay?! Just busy with leader stuff or..something bad?

Red flashed a smile at her in his own pride. "Just been busy. Nothin' bad. Nothin' bad in a while." Nollaig bounced up and down- she couldn't take it anymore!!
"Okay okay okay that's all good but can we pleeeeeease go back to the cabin now???"
Red rolled his eyes before picking Mint up without warning and carrying her off on his shoulders. Nollaig ran to keep up before Red picked her up under his arm. She squealed as he ran off through the woods and around cù sìths left and right!

Mint grinned from ear to ear! Today was turning out to be one of the bestest. But then a thought came into her head. What if it wasn’t going to turn out to be one of the bestest? What if something really bad happened..? She considered a few possible bad things and her smile turned to worry. The emotion hung around for a few moments before Mint brought herself back into the present. She was being carried through the woods, basically a giant to the world, and was heading to one of the bestest places ever! Now was not the time for frowns! Mint swung her arms up in the air, reclaiming the happy moment.
