Bernadette: Having t-squared her room enough that she could walk away from it for a moment, she exited and turned around to look at the doors down this hallway. She sighed, missing Emma's presence to the left of her room already. She was always a good neighbor.
However, looking to the right, she saw a new name on the door. Shikoba... She bit her lip, both wanting and not wanting to give the door a knock. She stayed in place, debating for a moment, until she saw the door begin to open. She froze. Oh Gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh, let her be nice, let her be nice, PLEASE let her be nice...

Raven: She opened the door and felt her heart leap out of her chest. She peered down at the smaller girl, blue eyes wide and studied her quietly.
She... was absolutely, undeniably, an adorable little introverted mess.
She gave her softest smile. "Hello there." Raven suspected that she probably had her dorm on the same floor and therefore was from Thanksgiving Town. But she definitely wasn't from the industrialized pilgrim side of Town. This young girl seemed to be more from her neck of the woods.

Bernadette: She actually trembled a bit when she had first opened the door, but found that she calmed down considerably when she seemed to be introverted herself. There'd be no yelling coming from this neighbor... or so she hoped!! She wrung her hands together nervously.
"Hello," she said after a moment, avoiding her gaze. "I'm, um, Bernadette Cornelius..." She bit her lip. "What's your name?" Santa's beard DID SHE TRY. This was much more nerve-wracking than she would have readily admitted to anyone other than maybe Persi, Sophie or her father.

Raven chuckles. She's awkward, but she's adorable. Reminded her much of... a teddy bear. She tries her best at a smile (Wayna kept telling her she needed to present herself as more friendly. Apparently her grumpy mood gave her a disgusting aura) and despite the fact that she was going to go visit Romulus at the University, she figures she should get to know her classmates here, too. Rather than just stick to her old friends from her last few years.
"My name is Raven. It's very nice to meet you.." She takes out a feather from her headband and gives it to the young girl. "Let's be friends, okay?"
Dear gods was she awkward herself. What a perfect pair.

Bernadette's eyes widened as she took the feather. She nodded hurriedly and smiled brightly.
"O-okay," she said, nervous. "It works since our rooms are so close. Right? We can visit."
What was she saying? She didn't know anymore. Bernadette smoothed the edges of the feather lightly, trying to think of something she could give her in return. Oh! She shoved her hand in her pocket and pulled out a small glass pendant that had a pumpkin seed cased inside. It was a silly little thing she'd gotten in the market, but it was cute and with a string could be worn like a necklace or even an earring with the proper hardware.
"Here," she said, handing it to Raven. I'd like to be friends too."
