Red: He sighed. "You're really into this idea, aren't you?" He looked around for the least lame wizard costume, finding one in red that was kind of okay. he held it up. "What about this?"

Red: He smiled crookedly and shook his head before going into the changing room. Lucky for him it was big enough. Since it was just a robe and a hat, though, it was pretty easy to just slip the robe over his clothes. He flattened his ears so that they'd lay flat and put the hat on his head. He walked out and shrugged, long wizard sleeves flopping around. "So, am I the bestest wizard in the land yet?"

Mint: She started giggling rather loudly. "hehe, Doggy, Heehehehe, I dink you hehehehe make a better prince den a wizard." She ran over and pulled on one of the sleeves. "But to be sure, try somethin magic!"

Red: He laughed down at her before picking her up. "Sure!" Why not? He could like it. It wasn't THAT hard to like something. Unless you were, like, a Finnigan or some dude with blue hair who teaches your best friend swear words.

Mint: "Den we shall be da mighdy wizard and dragon and go around Halloween town! Now..I just godda learn how to breath fire!" She patted Red's head with both hands. "Onward, mighdy wizard!"

Red: He tossed a few St. Patrick's coins on the counter with a semi-apologetic look on his face as the witch looked at them, somewhat confused but not angry. He made sure Mint was situated and took off out he door.
"CHAAARRRGGGEEE!" he cried, running down the streets. He was proud to see that they were scaring some Halloween monsters. This was fantastic. He had a new battle plan now. Forget fighting, he'd just charge through in a wizard's costume with an elf-sized dragon on his head. That would show those vampires.
"OFF TO DESTROY THE CITY!" he yelled far too loudly. A lot of Halloween residents looked over at him, half terrified and half just confused- then he remembered that this town didn't understand that most towns didn't actually want to take over other holidays. "SORRY I MEAN-- WE'RE PLAYING OKAY?" A mutter of approval was heard and everyone went back to what they were doing. "ANYWAY!"

Mint: Keeping one hand wrapped around her hat, she lifted her arms to do her best dragon growl. It didn't last long, as Red's wizard hat could not handle such high speeds and Mint felt it her duty to adjust it back.
"ROAR!" She replied to pretty much everything. Dragons were known for not being very good at English. Well, it depended on the dragon, but the Peppermint dragon of Christmas town was not going to be a civil dragon. She squealed as they ran around.

Red: After some time of this, Red found himself running in front of a district of candy shops and came to a screeching hault.
"Shh! Smell that?" He sniffed the air. "Candy. It's close. Let's go on the hunt." He crouched down on all fours, making sure Mint was able to move to his back and prowled around on his hands and knees. The wizard robe was getting in the way, but he didn't care much. After a few minutes he made his way into a candy shop.
A mummy at the counter moaned a bit while waving to a sign. "Trick-or-treating double profits today only!"
Red grinned. "Hey Pipsqueak. What do they say to get candy around here again?"

Mint: She laughed at Red's antic. Going on the hunt for candy? Much easier to do when you had a nose like Red's. At least, she assumed it was good. Dogs normally had really good noises. Mint liked to think she had a good nose for candy. Especially chocolate..and taffy. Well and of COURSE peppermint candy, but Halloween town didn't have much of that.
She looked at Red and thought over his question. "Trick or treat!" She sang.
