Mint: She laughed. "I dink I can walk while we are in the snow. You are gonna need to follow my feet so you don't fall into a snow drift. Cause you are sooooo small ya may go missing~!" She giggled a bit before lifting her arms up. "On the other hand, travellin in style sounds like the bestest way to travel. I dink you can handle a little snow. Besides, you need something to cover your poor wittle ears." That wasn't totally true. Mint just loved to mess with Red's hair and ears when she was up on his head.

Red: He grinned lopsidedly and picked her up easily, swooping her over his head and onto his shoulders. "How's the view up there, Captain Candyfarts?" he asked, proud of himself. He started walking and (hopefully) avoiding elves left and right.

Mint: "All clear, Major Body-odor!" She put her chin on top of Red's head. "But it is one of the bestest spots in all of Christmas town, I must say. And I have been EVERYWHERE in dis town." She poked one of his ears.

Red: His ear twitched, having been tickled by her touch. "Yeah, you can probably see over the rooftops," he said as he narrowly avoided running into a three-foot tall snowman that didn't quite come up to his waist. "It's a little less insane when you're not surrounded by elves," he admitted. Everything was a lot bigger in the square, anyway.
"Anyway, pipsqueak, what's the best way to get to some doors or somethin' from here? I don't suppose there's a shortcut to Halloweentown hanging out somewhere, is there?" He figured not since they were practically polar opposites, but it was worth a shot.

Mint: "..shortcut..shortcut..Hmm." She moved her head back and forth. "Hm hm hm. No, I don't dink so. But, maybe if I wish really super duper hard, we can get dere faster!" She closed her eyes and squished her hands into tight fists. She muttered under her breath. "Halloween, Halloween."

Red: Grinning, he made sure she was steadied before taking off into a sprint, carefully jumping over snowmen, elves and strange moving animal contraptions they were riding. He slid across the ice in the square and came to a stop when he hit snow, which he proceeded to hop through to avoid as much of it as possible. When he finally saw the doors in sight, he wrenched open the one shaped like a Jack O' Lantern and jumped inside. He landed firmly on his feet in the woods outside the main town, a huge, black castle in sight.
"Would you look at that. It's a Christmas miracle."

Mint: She opened one eye. "What is?" She gasped and opened her eyes wide. "IT WORKED! DOGGY, IT WORKED!" She happily kicked her feet. "What we gonna do first?! Huh, huh, what we gonna do? We gotta do someding AWESOME!" She was soo excited she could vurp!

Red: He laughed loudly as he started walking out of the forest, hands resting on Mint's legs protectively after she was done kicking them. "I dunno! I dunno much about this place other than vampires are a pain to keep outta my town! But I'm sure we'll come up with something!" So many trees. WHY WERE THERE SO MANY TREES. NONE OF THEM EVEN HAD LEAVES. IF THIS WAS HALLOWEENTOWN HE MIGHT BECOME A PERMANENT RESIDENT BECAUSE HE WAS ABOUT TO DIE OF BOREDOM.

Mint: She looked around. It was kind of pretty looking! Everything looked more peaceful compared to Christmas. Even the trees were sleeping. No needles on them, or bright lights. Mint marveled over it for a moment. "Maybe we should ask somebody! Day would know what to do around here!"

Red: "Yeah maybe," he agreed. But when he looked around, ALL HE SAW WERE MORE TREES. Did ANYONE live here or did they only exist to make his job harder at night before vanishing?
After they walked for QUITE a while, though, he got to a log that served as a bridge to another hill that overlooked a graveyard and an odd curly hill. "Well, would you look at that," he said. Even the hills were weird here.

Mint: "Yeah, dis is like the worst playground I ever seen. Even the sledding hill doesn't look dat fun.." She sighed. "Doggy, we are never gonna find anybody! Dis town is like a graveyard! ..whatever those are. I dunno, I just heard that phrase before."

Red: He crossed the bridge and walked down a small, not-spiral hill to see tombstones as she spoke. "Yeah, exactly like a graveyard," he said absent-mindedly as he went around a particularly large tombstone and almost stepped on a pumpkin. "Well, there's a gate over there, so maybe the town's that way?" He did see some buildings off in the distance, so he hoped that he was right in his assumption...!

Mint: She nodded. "Gates tend to be da entrance to dings." She played with her fingernails. "But whats if it isn't! Will we get lost in Halloween town forevers?! Red and Mint missing forever cause day wanted to go on an advendure! Oooh nooo." She giggled. "Nah, we gonna be fine..right?"

Red: Smirking, he reached up with a hand to high-five her. "Definitely."
When he reached the gate, he jiggled it but it wouldn't open. Well, forget that mess. He kicked it and the door went flying off the hinges with a crash. He blinked a few times, having honestly not expected that to happen.
"Uh. Well then." He leaned down to pick up the gate, being careful not to cause Mint to topple over onto the ground, and set it back where it had been. That was a problem for the next person to deal with.
Ahead of them was a cobblestone street that lead to, probably something interesting. Glancing around, he noticed another tall green guy that looked familiar. By the way he waved to them shyly mid-doing laundry, Red could only assume that he had gone to school with them. He waved back before continuing on into a town that looked to be mostly black, white, gray and orange.
"What happened to the color?" he asked Mint, not really expecting an answer, but figuring he'd get one.

Mint: She returned Red's highfive. It was very important to never leave friends hanging when it came to such things. She was a little angry at Red for not fixing the gate, but decided they probably would have made it worse. Neither of them knew how to fix Halloween things. Mint rubbed her chin, trying to figure any possible reason. "Clearly, when da holidays were made, day only had so much color day could give to each holiday! Halloween ended up with not much color cause all da other holidays needed so much color! But dat is okay, cause everybody in Halloween is very happy anyway!"
