(I FORGOT TO ADD THIS A WHILE AGO AND I AM SORRY)
Franz: Chewing on his lip, he sunk his hands into his leather coat pocket and strode into the elevator. He really did like the HA campus, even if he had only attended summer classes in the like! It felt kind of homey, you know? He clicked the “down” button and leaned his back against the wall. He shrugged his shoulders and closed his eyes; it had been a pret-ty long day!
Wren: She teetered down the hallway with a stack of books going up to her chin. Turning a corner, she saw the elevator in all it glorious not-stairs-ness and almost cried. She was so close to putting these freaking bricks down! Her arms started to shake as she took the last few steps to the contraption. Finally arriving, she carefully set the pile on the ground. Noticing the down button was already lit, she looked over to see Franz. "Hey!" she exclaimed. "It's you!"
Shay: The moss cloaked nerd flopped into the elevator. Shay didn't even check where it was going, he figured if he just fell asleep he would be fine. He slumped down onto the floor. Between a yawn he muttered, "Basement, please.."
Franz: He opened his eyes and peeked out, and then threw a hand in front of the door just before it shut! “Oh, hey Wren. Sorry about that.” He took a step back to give her and her books some space and was about to ask for the floor number again before the green…dude slipped right in. “Uh…” He chewed his lip again, but hit the lowest floor button. “Is there…even a basement?” Was he wrapped in a blanket? It was pretty cold…
Wren: "No problem," she replied, staring at the newcomer. She still didn't know how he lived in that... thing, it was so itchy during that Halloween assignment! She shrugged her shoulders, never having dared to go to the lowest floor. She heard there were spiders down there. Probably the Halloween teachers doing. "So, where have you been? HU?"
Shay: He opened one eye a little bit to see who he was in the elevator with. Wren and..some weird kid? What holiday was this weirdo even from?! Shay just kept to himself and said nothing, but kept his one eyes fixed on this kid.
Franz: “Yeah, I’m at the University now. So is Hans.” He watched the door close and put leaned his back to the wall again. Elevators had always freaked him out since he was a kid. He looked over to Shay and whispered to Wren, “Do you know who that is?” Hopefully he didn’t hear him! Thhaaat would be awkward. He was about to ask Wren something else when the elevator made a strange CLICK noise! “What was-“ In a second, the lights went out (They could still see, just a little bit!) and the elevator stopped dead. He only stumbled a little bit, but was careful to hold onto the guard rail! He reached out for the others at first, but then stopped, careful to touch them.
Wren: She nodded her head. "Yeah that's Shay, he and I were partners for a projec-" The lights above them flickered out and Wren tipped from the sudden stop. She stepped backwards on something- make that someone! "Santa's beard Shay, sorry!" she gasped. She let her eyes adjust to the dimness and reached back for the railings. "Is everyone okay?"
Franz: “Y-yeah, I’m okay just uh…” He turned and faced the wall of the elevator. “I just…gotta chill for a minute okay? Just… don’t like heights…” Actually, he was totally claustrophobic but he didn’t want them to freak out. “I-I’ll be okay just give me a sec, okay?” He let himself sink to the corner and pulled his legs to his chest. Just a second was all he needed, really!
Shay: He blinked a few times. The elevator didn't normally do that.. "I'm..fine.." What was even going on? Were elevators suppose to do THAT?! "But..the elevator isn't?"
Wren: Finding the rails, she leaned back against them and looked worriedly at Franz. "It doesn't look like it. Is there like an emergency button or something?" She squinted at the keys, but her vision was blurred with reading fatigue. "Hey, check this out for me!"
Shay: He made a small whining noise. "But..it is Alllll the way over there..and I am here.." He made a grabbing motion with his hand under his cloak. "...but fine." He slowly scotted over to the row of buttons.
Wren: She moved to the side, gesturing to the fuzzy rows in front of her. "Anything?" she asked.
Shay: "..Okay so we have two options...we could either try to use the phone button to call for help..or..we could rip open the console to see if something went wrong with the wiring.." Deciding that simply making a call would be a lot easier and way less work, Shay pushed the button. "..is it working?"
Wren: She pressed her ear to the speaker, stumbling back when a loud ring came from it. She pointed to it excitedly and exclaimed, "It's working, it's work... oh." The ringing fizzled out, leaving them with a slight buzzing noise. Wren stepped closer and shouted, "HELLO. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE?" After a few seconds of silence, she sighed in defeat.
Shay: He made another whining noise. But this was more of a "I really don't wanna do the harder option" kind of whine.
Wren: She squinted down at him. "Just do it."
Shay: He waved her off. "It would be better if we waited..they will notice pretty soon anyway.."
Wren: She glanced over at Franz in the corner and lowered her voice. "Okay, but what if they don't?" She didn't know if he was crazy claustrophobic or something, but she didn't really want to find out.
Franz: “Do you mean like…poking around at the box of chocolates inside it?” He gestured over to the board thing. “I guess uh…I could try?” He looked over to Mr. Cozy right there and handed him the lighter, “Can you hold this? Uh…Don’t burn your blanket, please.” You will literally kill all three of us if you light on fire Santa's beard. He looked back at Wren, “So, what should I be like, fixing?” He felt around the panel in the light and tugged the face until it popped off. “It’s rusty as box of chocolates!” He coughed a bit at some dust that flew up and waved his hand. “How old even IS this thing??”
Shay: He cringed at Franz attempts to monkey around with the elevator. Granted, he had no experience with elevators but STILL. He held the lighter tightly with both hands. "..isn't the school only a few years old?"
