Giving Rich's hand on her shoulder a conspiratorial squeeze, she had to bite her lip slightly to keep from giggling at Kale's confused glances between the two of them. However, at what Richter apparently felt the absolute need to point out, Bev started turning a very bright shade of red and made a tiny choked sound. Her hand dropped from her shoulder as Rich stepped away to lean against the piano, and Bev stared at her lap while fidgeting nervously. She knew he was just kidding, but... kndfldhkd??? YOU DON'T JUST SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT, OUT LOUD, WHILE MEETING SOMEONE FOR THE FIRST TIME... Swallowing down her embarrassment, she forced a laugh and shook her head.
"Ooookay!" She tittered, "But because the contest is apparently over, I declare myself the winner and you have to do karaoke with me. No take backs!" She stood up, snatching up her purse and springing away from Rich before he could try to argue. She grabbed Kale's towel, yanking him up with her as she went. With a wave over her shoulder, she bid farewell to Rich with a final wink and a parting smile. "Pick out something nice for the clubs!"

Richter laughed and waved at them as they ran away, pushing his hair back out of his eyes. "May need some help with that... Dressing nice thing." He muttered as they were at the door. "Ed always says my vests and slacks are old fashioned. Don't know what he's talking about, with his sweaters and bow ties." He grumbled, turning to grab the stool and place it back in his home. He leaned in the doorway, watching his friends leave, and smiled. This morning, he had no friends. Now he had TWO! He felt on top of the world. It didn't even matter she insisted on calling him Rich, or that he seemed content to aggrivate him. His smile grew as he shut the band door, ready to relax before he was dragged out bar hopping.
